Year 44 week 6 Louisville Derby contest

Post by Tyler Anthony »

Would you like to win over $1,000,000 actually $1,140,000 to be exact?
Would you like to just spend $1000 to win that amount?

In week 6 this year I will be running a boxed trifecta contest and 1 person will be $1,140,000 richer...

How does this work you say?

I have created some PHP code to run on my website that I am building that is basically like a mystery pick.
For the Louisville Derby there are 20 runners which means there are 1140 total possible combinations for a boxed trifecta.
When you click 'initiate' you would be given your randomly selected trifecta it would be something like 1,2,3 or 6,11,19 or even 6,7,20.
Last years trifecta was 3,4,12.
All it would cost you is $1000 sim bucks to enter, this contest is also based on honesty so when you create an account using your Stable Office name and you go to the page where the contest is you will see the 'initiate' button the amount of times you click this button is the amount of entries you will have and each entry will cost $1000. The entry fee/s will be given to myself by way of selling of horses or asking the steward to transfer.

On the contest page you will see a table with your name and your selection/s.

In the event of not all 1140 entries sold and the winning trifecta was not sold then the contest will Jackpot to the Baltimore Crown.

I am in the process of making this site for this contest and will take me a few weeks (I have to write every 1140 combination by hand)

If you know PHP then it's something like;

Code: Select all

var values = ['1-2-3','1-2-4','1-2-5','1-2-6','1-2-7','1-2-8','1-2-9','1-2-10','1-2-11','1-2-12','1-2-13','1-2-14','1-2-15','1-2-16','1-2-17','1-2-18','1-2-19','1-2-20','1-3-4'];
and so on and so on and so on................

Every time you click initiate you will be given a combination and that combination will be deleted of the database so there isn't any duplicates.

If this goes well I might make it a regular thing or even let the Steward add it to this site for a small fee Stewardbred foal *wink...

Count me in for a solid 20-25 Combos, at least.
