Why Jen?

You'd be better off gelding him and call it a bad judgement buying him as I'm 99.9% sure he won't produce any decent runners.

I'd have to agree with Martin. Unless the horse is a graded stakes winner, he really won't get any attention with 500 other stallions in the game. Also, even with a stellar mare, I can't see this horse siring anything that can run as his bloodlines and performance are less then decent. You'd be better off hitting the "Send To Greener Pastures" button.

She would like to trade the horse for a 2yo, right?

Where is Jolene. Jolene will send her a couple of 2yos when she sees this!

I was going to race him but there were no races for him. Also he hasn't ran in two years. So I retired him and then I thought about using him as a stud. Bad buy, that was why he was cheap. I wish I had looked at the date of his last race before buying him.

Kevin, I'm thinking about your 2 year old.

I picked up a horse last year that had not run since year 16, he has become probably one of my most consistent runners in my stable at the hefty age of 7, if you don't find a race right away wait one may pop up

Jen, have you thought about why exactly a horse who could not even break his maiden in eight starts deserves to be a stud?
