The SIM Silks Tournament -- Voting Thread

The next thing that has to be done is to assign every player an overall seed, from No. 1 to No. 121. These seeds are based on the number of nominations a player received. Because Ali Hedgestone is the only player to receive 7 nominations, she automatically is the top overall seed ...
1. Ali Hedgestone
Two players, Danny Derby and Anna Leroux, received 6 nominations. One of them will be the No. 2 overall seed and one the No. 3 overall seed. To break the tie, I am using the random order generator found here:
Random Order Generator
The randomizer ordered Danny first and Anna second. Therefore ...
2. Danny Derby
3. Anna Leroux
Three players (Fanta Arcadia, Friedrich Barbarossa and Bryan Doolittle) tied with 5 nominations each. I put each of them into the random order generator, and it ordered them ...
4. Friedrich Barbarossa
5. Bryan Doolittle
6. Fanta Arcadia
I continued to break nomination ties for those with 4 nominations, those with three, those with two, and finally those with 1 (the majority of the list). When it was all said and done, here was the order:

All that's left is to place the players into the bracket, which consists of eight different regions made up of regional seeds from 1-16. The tournament is balanced in such a way that, if all the higher seeds win every time, all eight top regional seeds will advance to the quarterfinals so that the No. 1 overall seed will face the No. 8 overall seed, No. 2 will face No. 7, No. 3 will face No. 6 and No. 4 will face No. 5. (The semis would be No. 1 vs No. 4 and No. 2 vs. No. 3, and the final would be No. 1 vs. No. 2.) Of course, this tournament will not unfold like that, because upsets will happen (I mean, every regional seed from No. 6 to No. 16 was determined by random draw!).
Anyway, the unfilled bracket looks like this (brackets will be named for each top regional seed) ... The first number is the overall seed, the second number is the regional seed:

Hopefully tomorrow, but no later than Wednesday, I will get the voting started when I have a chance to make the big matchups post with all the silks in it.

The randomizer ordered Danny first and Anna second. Therefore ...
