Congrats to the winners of the All Weather Derby and Oaks.
The Derby was won by Valacar. A homebred for Tiyoun Long. The son of Benjamin is out of Time Turner mare Malika. The win was Valacar's first career Stakes win and the first AW Route Grade 1 with for Tiyoun Long. Congrats.
The Oaks winner is very familiar. Namine once again broke my heart and beat my filly Another Fluff. She is a homebred for Madelene Gilbert who has a couple (23) of Grade 1 wins to her credit. It's Namine's 2nd Grade 1 win after winning the All Weather Debutante last year. She is by Live the Dream, out of Dr. Ghazi mare, Michaela Quinn. Congrats, now retire her so I have a chance!!!
