Y47 AW Steward's Cup Trivia

Post by Ash Tarasin »

  • Mile After Mile won his third Steward's Cup in a row, and his second Mile in a row.
Franklin won his second Marathon in a row.
Titanium Heart ran the quickest Juvenile Fillies ever going 1:38.20. The second quickest filly ever
was Admire My Heart last year who went 1:38.91!
The Steward is on a romp in the Sprint having bred the five latest winners (though two of them have
won back to back). She also bred the three latest winners of the Dash. It would have been six in a row in the
Dash had it not been for Looker's Woke upsetting Hooray with a neck in Y44!
Air Spinel had a second son in a row to win the Dash.
Air Bourne won his second Steward's Cup, having won the Dash last year.
The margin between Air Bourne, and Hooray's possible third consecutive SC win has only been as small
    in the Sprint once before.
Madelene Gilbert won her third Matron in a row (with three different fillies) with Peace at Last.
At the Gallows End had a second daughter in a row win the Filly Dash.
Bear's Pearl won her second Steward's Cup in a row.
Franken Storm lost her possible third consecutive Steward's Cup win to Bear's Pearl with only a nose length
between them. The win margin in the Speed has never been so small.
Maria La Clad won her second Distaff in a row. She was the oldest horse to ever win the Distaff already last
year. Apart from Gold From the Sky's enormous win in Y45, Maria La Clad has the second and third quickest
    Distaffs on her account.
Feel free to add anything you may find yourself if you want. I was just glancing through the SIMMuseum for the
results of last night/this morning. :)

Nena Olson and Dusty Klatt each had a 2-3-4 finish in a Steward's Cup race last night.

Lori Hamill and Franklin won their third career Grade 1 AW Route race and 2nd Steward's Cup Marathon
Madelene Gilbert's matron win was her third straight and 5th overall. Also it was her 25th career Grade 1
Nena's win with Choices was her third AW Route Steward's Cup, and 8th grade 1 winner. Also, Nena and AW Route horses with name beginning with "C" is a good combo, 6 of her 8 G1's are horses with a name beginning with "C" (Courageously x2, Compulsive x3 and Choices)

Unofficial Steward's Cup Races All Weather Futurity and All Weather Debutante raced yesterday too.

Oncu Kaan and Winema won the Debutante. The first AW Route G1 win for both of them.
Regina Moore and Curse of the Sun won the Futurity. It's Regina's 2nd career G1 in AW Route ranks. The other was in Year 38 with Coached Words.

Ricky Stamm picked up his 4th Synthetic Sprint win, matching Lee Cara for most wins in that race (4).
Mile After Mile won the Synthetic Mile under two different owners - this year for Magic Star, last year for Darcy Mcbride.
Todd Lucas won his first Steward's Cup at a mile with Titanium Heart. He's better known for his route wins, of which he has 5 (2x Marathan, 2x Matron, 1x Classic).
Madelene Gilbert now holds the record for most wins in an individual SC race (5x Matron). Her first win was in Y37, 10 years ago (50% win rate).

That's what I found at a quick glance!

ETA: Poor Em probably won't read this, and I couldn't quite type into chat from my phone...
Namine is pronounced nah-min-ay (long a sound at the end), which is Japanese for "ocean wave" and a character from Kingdom Hearts.

Royal Heiress joins her Sire, her Dam Sire, her Dam, and her Grand Dam as a Steward's Cup Winner. She also has a half sister (through her Sire) who has captured 2 SC Titles and is only 3yo in Year 47.
