I can't wait to see Smartys' babies on the track. I hope his brilliance passes on...

I was going thru my closet this weekend, and came across a pile of newspapers that I gathered during Smartys' TC run. Most of them were from the day after his Preakness blowout. We were driving from Cali to Illinois to see my parents. We were going thru Colorado on Preakness day, I made my husband stop early in some tiny town in eastern Colorado so I could see Smarty race. Well the next day every time we stopped, I bought a newspaper, so I could read about Smarty :) So I have all these sunday papers, from all these towns and cities along the I70 during the hight of Smarty mania.
