Wow that's funny. I wonder if he always was a freak or changed to one along the training path.

I remember when Sideshow was a yearling, he ran 58.20 and it was the second fastest time in history. That's insanity.

That must have been before the Y44 fitness changes. All the “fastest” workout times dropped about a half-second once we all got our horses fit.

Standings updated through the Week 7 Friday Europe races. Will probably be sometime Saturday before I get the evening races done.

Got a chance before leaving work to update the evening races.
Laura Smith is ON FIRE! A triple-digit lead right now. She is looking tough to catch ... of course with all the million-dollar, double-points Week 16 races, you never know what can happen at the end, but man, her horses are killing it.
Happy for Tan Gent, who finally got a win from one of his steeds (Private Persuasion).
(Take heart, TG ... One year my fantasy baseball team finished dead last, scoring 1,100 points less than second-to-last. That second-to-last team was only 800 points behind the champion. It was a 12-team league. Not coincidentally, I never played fantasy baseball again. Yeesh.)

Man, this is super fun (easy to say for someone who's currently winning, right?) but thanks again for running this. I had lots of fun trying to research a division I know little about, tried to pick horses that would hopefully run well and often on a variety of circuits... and so far so good. I'm a little shocked to be in front, but hey, the year's not even half over yet...
LONG OVERDUE FARM: Keepin' it Canada since Year 16.

Believe Me (El Clasico Derby) and Mystere (Las Oaks) give Katie Macpherson and Nick Gilmore a boost in the standings with Grade 1 wins tonight.

The hottest horse in turf routing, Let Me, won another double-points event (the Gran Premio Carlos Pelligrini) to rocket Todd Lucas into second place. But Laura Smith remains well out in front, with help from second-place finisher Speak With Fists.
