I was sitting here in my office trying to keep my mind off of work and I came to the following realization:

Year 20 is the first year in which horses bred by me will be hitting the track.

That brings up questions. Did I follow the right advice? Have I done a good job matching mares to stallions? Or did I create distance-confused surface-confused menaces to racing society who will no doubt completely suck wind?

I suppose we'll find out. Yikes.

I'm in the same boat as you Scott. This should be interesting.

<a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=25750' target='_blank'>Into The light</a> was one of my first homebreds to race.

My first was Over the Wall <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=29587' target='_blank'>http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php ... D=29587</a>

so I did OK - my best of the few that year.

My second crop includes Thomas Jefferson and Fairest King - so even better. So steady improvement is what I look for.
I'm just here for the fun of it

The "menaces to racing society" line cracked me up! I suspect, given the amount of input you solicited at the time you bred them, you won't have to worry about that worst case scenario :)
