I lost both Danzing Cat (dam of 2 stakes winners) and Sweptawaybythetide, a daughter of Banks Hill with only one foal on the ground as of now. Oy.

I suppose when you only have 18 broodmares, your chances are good to make it through. I only have 5 that I was even concerned about, and everyone's ok.

And no bucked shins, so it looks like I sneaked through with no issues coming into the season.

With twice as many broodmares as last year (11) I slipped through without any barren.

Sad to see a few of the names that have been mentioned though, especially Banner.

Just one out of 33. She's my first barren mare ever, so I still feel pretty lucky.

13 out of 246, the big ones being Bridge and Exasperated. All things considered, not too bad.

I had 5 out of 101, none of my big ones, thank goodness, but 2 of the ones I'd bought last year after they'd already been bred.

Entirely clean this year! No barren mares (out of 55), infertile stallions (although I only have 2), and no bucked shins (38 new 2yos).

5... 2 I'm alright with (Rush Into Battle and Sanibel Island, that latter of which I have issues breeding anyway), two I'm really bummed about (Forachancelikethis and Skylark), and one that I'm REALLY disappointed about (the painfully well-bred, beautiful, and all-around love Flying Solo)

grrr 9 outa 316 this year...One was a mare i jsut got..Beaucetta,and the 3 i'm really bummed about are Riskaverse,Lite One and My Constant,plus i also have Dazzledbystarlite,Dream Focus(again),Forthosewhoshine,Suspect Beckner and Whipping Girl...
Only 3 outa 244 babies are off ,all with bucked shins.guess i have to get after my excersise riders.
