I've spent the morning looking over my stallion roster and setting fees for Year 20. Year 20 fees will be as follows*:

Brian's Time: $2,500 [Down from $5,000]
Cacique: $15,000 [Down from $25,000]
Dansili: $1,000 [Down from $5,000]
Edict: $75,000

Empire Maker: $20,000
Epic: $20,000
Explode: $35,000 [Up from $25,000]
Fading Dreams: $5,000 [Down from $7,500]
Fuji Kiseki: $10,000

Ghostzapper: $200,000**
Hawk Wing: $2,500 [Down from $10,000]
Icon: $2,500
Image: $15,000
Impressive: $5,000 [Down from $10,000]

Kingdom: $10,000
Motivator: $5,000
Noverre: $5,000
Oak Park: $75,000 [Up from $50,000]
Pachabel: $1,000 [Down from $5,000]

Palace: $5,000 [Down from $15,000]
Righteous: $15,000
Saga: $100,000
Shield: $5,000 [Down from $10,000]
Strongerable: $40,000 [Up from $15,000]

*As always, if you have what you believe to be a qualified mare for one of my guys and the stud fee represents an undue hardship, shoot me a message. I can't guarantee that I'll share your opinions of what constitutes a qualified mare or an undue hardship, but I'd say I've accommodated about 90% of the requests I've received this year and I'm usually willing to help people out in this regard. Ghostzapper is the only exception, see below.

**Ghostzapper's fee will increase through the year based on the size of his book as the year progresses. I've changed the benchmarks a little bit, since his book was still staggeringly large, and moved the base point up to $200,000. The following applies to all mares not owned by me:

Mares #1-15 will be bred at $200,000
Mares #16-25 will be bred at $250,000
Mares #26+ @ $300,000

-Special exceptions and discounts will be limited to select owners with elite-level mares, and to those owners who have received free/discounted breedings to Ghostzapper in conjunction with breeding eligible mares to Explode (see Explode’s thread for that information). In those cases, trainers should get in touch with me and we’ll sort out the money.

There will be no discounts for owners whose mares simply have pedigrees that look like they ought to cross well with Ghostzapper [honestly, he seems to cross to almost every major dirt line] and there will be no discounts for owners with otherwise decent mares who just don't have the money. Expect to see some sort of reduction late in the year to accommodate some mares who might be retiring during Year 20.
