my horse Vancouver will need a race soon I am wondering if I should try a sprint with him. He only has one win as a two year old. I would love to hear your thoughts on trying him at a sprint and thank you.

here is his link

seeing as his one win came in a maiden claiming race going one mile I would look for a claiming race at that distance

I was thinking of starting him in a race for week 4 but thinking perhaps I should wait until week five or maybe six? Just not sure what to do with him.

I may be wrong here, Horse Breaker, but I would try Vancouver on dirt. Even though he won on the grass his real strength might be the main track.

it's possible that Vancouver may like dirt her sire has sired winners on both surfaces, and her dam has placed on dirt but also has done really well on turf, I think potentially this horse could be either
