Legendary Bloodlines — A month-long challenge
Yesterday, I started wondering, "What's the most money a continuous line of SIM racehorses has won on the track?"
Each successive horse in the chain has to be a son or daughter of the previous horse (in other words, no siblings can be in a chain). You can start with any stallion or broodmare you want, but obviously the further back in SIM time you start, the more earnings potential your line will have.
This was the first (and so far only) line I played with (and certainly not the last "Symbol --> Conduit --> _____" line I will research) ...
Silver Charm $2,906,500 (no SIM headshot)
Symbol $1,215,200
Conduit $8,406,000
Atlas $12,763,200
Taian $1,461,000 (no picture)
Formosa $789,500 (no picture)
Famous Last Words $1,276,000
Beloved $2,071,000
Suki $276,500 (no picture)
Time Will Tell $1,381,000
TOTAL $32,545,700
So here's the challenge (through the end of May): Which of you can find the richest (by race earnings) continuous bloodline? I will give $100,000 SIM dollars to the winner.

Oh, and if The Steward knows the best answer to this, and someone happens to post the best possible bloodline in the thread, she can say so.

Seems interesting. Are we using horses we own or can we pick any horse in the SIM?

You can only use one of her sons/daughters, though ... and whichever one you choose, you can only use one of that horse's sons/daughters. And so on and so on. It's tougher than you think.Rochelle Zahacy wrote: ↑4 years ago Just gonna say, Skyfall almost beats this with just her immediate descendants

No. Just list your list (preferably with the earnings for each horse).
I mean, you can add the headshots if you want, but it's not at all mandatory. I did it because it looks good.

Whoa, had no idea Silver Charm actually raced in the SIM. I have to recalibrate my example.

Re: Legendary Bloodlines — A month-long challenge
Delirium is racing in a million dollar race this week, so it might increase.
I got 50 million at first that's why I thought I made a mistake somewhere.

That brings up a good point ... the last horse in all chains that get posted will get updated totals at the end of the month.

Re: Legendary Bloodlines — A month-long challenge
Do we follow dam or sire lines? Sire lines may be a bit easy
Edit: I take that back, lol
