After 6.5 years in service, my beloved laptop has gone to Laptop in the Sky. The new one has been ordered.

Expect 8-10 GP sales a week ;-)

Ugh - that's too bad. At least I was able to go to the Apple store and buy one, rather than have to order it. As a side note, I've been most impressed with the Apple store here in Louisville and how it is managing people - they hired three security guards to man the entrance/exit and line outside the store, so the employees don't have to fool with any of that.

RIP 6.5 year old computer.

My last one died at age 10. :P
The replacement was already 4 years old when I bought it... hoping it will last 6 more years....or better yet, I hit some kind of lotto and won't have to worry about it.

I hope you new computer comes in quickly, and without any issues you get everything loaded into it and fine tune the thing to fit your liking.

How's the book reading going? ;)

That laptop lasted a lot longer than my first marriage.
