I don't think Speed Figures was even a deciding factor for me getting SIMperior. Access to the Studbook has more than paid for its usage. Aside from that you can literally pay for GPs using your earnings through the Exchange so you do not ever have to put your own money into the game if that is how you choose to play. I buy my GP allowance during GP 1/2 days when it is cheaper after that I supplement using my earnings in the exchange if necessary. :)
