I have my assumptions about how this is going to go, but I'm going to keep them to myself for now, until this all plays out. I'll just say it's all going to depend on where the starting price is on these horses. There are a LOT of millionaires in this game, I wouldn't really expect many (if any) of these to fall into 5 digits, unless they start there.

Edit - There is one big advantage for me this week. My wife and I have a show in Huntsville, AL Friday night, and I won't be getting back until about 2AM CST...or right around when the first batch goes up for sale. B)

You are right! I was very surprised to count more than 50 millionaires in the Sim. Who is awake may be as big of a factor as who has the money.

That's too bad, that there are so many millionaires in the game. It's not as easy as one thinks to get up there in the money when you are just starting out. It is one of my goals though, hehe.

Whilst I am one of the "millionaires" I am keeping a firm rein on my spending as I need to keep money in the bank for the farm as I am barely breaking even on purse money and this week was the first week i have made a profit on the farm (thanks to those who are boarding!).

If i can pick up something cheap and cheerful I will but as usual with the time difference i doubt i will be there at the bitter end!

Only one horse per day per trainer so even with the millionaires there should still be a reasonable choice.

Wish list
Alternate horses between jumps and flat.
Search for previous rather than current owners of horses.
Stallions year entered for stud duties.
Automated assistant trainers - sorted, kind of!
European claiming circuit.

Some millionaires just hoard their money. *raises hand*

I'm counting on either my dog or my daughter to wake me up around 5AM Saturday so I can get on. If not I will just have to sort through whats left at 7AM.

I have two questions about this. So, if anybody knows the answers, thanks in advance!

1) Is the 'sale' beginning at 12AM Pacific Time on Decemeber 1?

2) Are the hosrses going up on the normal sales page, or will there be a new sales page created to host the Shield's-Breds?

Thanks,

Nathan

I have a question as well....how are some of you finding which horses you want already and knowing which ones are going up for sale?

Also, does anyone want to give me around $2 million? :D j/k

Tasha,

Do a search for 1 year olds bred by Emily Shields. Those are the horses going up for sale.

An extra 2 million? I'd just like a first 2 million...
