I don't remember if I've put this here yet, but broodmare sire stats for every stud (not just a rankings page) would be awesome, and also sire stats that you can sort by crop please and thank you!

So, me being the color genetic guru I am, I always chose the color of the foal that is a possible color from the dam/sire pairing. As I start to breed mares a couple things that bug me (speaking for Paints and QH)
  • We have the homozygous cream options of Cremello and Perlino but not Smoky Cream, I understand not having Smoky Black since single cream doesn't affect black pigment but that'd be cool too
  • For Paints we have Blue Roan and Red Roan but not Bay Roan
  • Building on that QH have Blue Roan and Red Roan as well as just Roan, I actually went through headshots and most of the Roan horse's headshots are just Red Roan with just a couple being Bay Roan
  • Brown bugs me, I always think it's bay based like a seal brown phenotype when actually it's red based and more like a liver chestnut
As far as abbreviations for these could do scr (Smoky Cream), blro (Black Roan, blr if can only do 3 characters), bro (Bay Roan), lch (Liver Chestnut)

I'd absolutely love to have a horse's color genetics somewhere on their page, would make the gray's SO much easier, lol, and maybe allow for more than one modifier gene, I actually type in the color of a lot of horses in their notes if they're Dunskin, Smoky Grullo, ect... but I'm assuming that's not too easy to do, now I'm just dreaming.

In the Exchange:

Why can't we see what our own percentage is when we submit X amount for Sim Dollars or GPs?
I already know what I offered - which is what is shown after you submit the offer.

My brain is often fuzzy from lack of sleep more often than not, and sometimes even from painkillers. Ten years ago, I could do the math - but even then, math has never been my strong point...lol.

This would help so much if say I offer up an amount...and then see it's at 14% -- I can then if I wish, adjust it to a different percentage. Maybe it could show our own offers up on the list with everyone else's, but with an asterisk next to it or at least show the percentage in the same field that we see in the 'what we offered' box.

Please, this would help a lot.

Add columns to the horse ranking table to show which nominations a horse has (TC, SC, etc.)

Maybe also add a drop-down filter for circuit, so we can see how many wins, points, etc. a horse has per circuit. This would be handy for Simmy voting.

A new "Fortune Teller" added to the game who for a premium will tell us impatient types information we just refuse to wait for, at a premium cost.

Couple of ideas that could be included with it...

Divine Peak Talent: Tells you what a horses highest gallop comment will be EVENTUALLY, but not when they'll reach it.
Divine Hypo: Hypomate to an unretired colt/filly

I want to like this but I feel like the divine peak talent defeats the purpose of attempting to campaign horses and guide them to the best of their ability and be surprised and proud when cool stuff happens

Yes, seconded. I want to see it inherit the dams type too. You can always set more later
This is done; ALL foals inherit the dam.
This change will greatly impact how I play the game (see below). Is there any possible way that one could have an option to make all foals bred as Unspecified Type (as before this change)?

After Festivus, I change the type of my yearlings for only the yearlings that had successful gallops. So rather than focusing on my many breeding failures, I positively reinforce each success when I change their type. Most of these horses remain as Unspecified Type unless a subsequent gallop is successful. In Week 1 and Week 9, I give away many of my Peak Unspecified racehorses. When I was a new player, I received many "give away" horses. So I am "paying forward" my debt to these players -- more positive reinforcement.

With this enacted change, Festivus would become a total nightmare. I would need to change my many yearling failures to Unspecified Type. So i would get a strong reminder on how terrible I am at breeding. It is doubtful that I could cope with so much negative reinforcement in a game that I play for fun. So I would end up dramatically changing how I play the game.
Follow-up:
I noticed that it took less than 10 seconds to remove the Type from a foal. With around 180 mares, this change will take me less than 30 minutes per Sim year. Since I breed throughout the Sim year, the additional time spent is negligible.

I use custom barns for this same process. Would be happy to share my method if it’s of any interest. Saves a lot of clicks given you can set barns en masse

I don't know whether ingame genetics are inherited similarly to the way real life genetics are, and since I don't know I'm going to assume it is.

Thus I'm advocating for that horses only appearing on the one side in a pedigree would lose their bold text. If it would be a real life pedigree and it just appeared on one side it would already have given all its possible genetic material to the one parent, and its genes can't potentially duplicate in the foal any longer. Thus it's misleading to allow the name to keep appearing in bold text.

Its definitely a cosmetic (might be using that words wrong) thing but it'd be neat if our jockeys said other stuff besides equipment comments when we do an 'Ask Me', it'd just be really neat if they said cool stuff like 'Beauxbaton had a great race and broke really strong!' or something like that
