Where I grew up, goober is used to refer to a silly sort of person. A goof, a fool, what a goober. For Polk, think knasboll, tokstolle, en fånig typ men med en lite humoristisk/kärleksfull betoning, jag brukar inte höra att det används på ett direkt nedsättande sätt.

Lusteroflostthings isn't in my stable anymore as his lease run expired, but I'll still stand by him as a rock solid budget option I kind of used him to mass breed formids and no-pedigree stars during the season I had him, and got about as good as if I'd spent absurd money to breed them all to something fancier. Ok,

I decided to give him a real shot, and sent one of my nicer Foremost blue hens to him.
Into Shadows, has foaled 1 freak, 1 stakes, and 3 allowances...and those three - one has retired and is a blue hen. The other two, are still young, and could upgrade, not sure though as they don't belong to me.


This is my filly by Lusteroflostthings x Into Shadows....and I managed to breed one that has no inbreeding

In the Sim, I think I was the first one to call a lower end money earner a 'goober' I made a comment about my 'bread and butter' horses...then said something like -- 'more like my goobers, my bread and peanut-butter horses' as they are working for peanuts.

Goodbye Yesterday won her 2nd G1 race : )

This time it was the G1 Northern Australian Oaks at 1 1/4 miles.

After her first G1 win, I sent a few more quality mares to her sire, Lusteroflostthings

Given Goodbye Yesterday's success, I'm hoping he is on of those stallions that work really well with my 'Foremost pedigree line'
And given his modest stud fee, I want to see if I've found a great nick with him and my mares. He has Sidney and Kitasan Black in his pedigree, and my mares also nicked well with those 2 stallions.

So, if anyone has mares that have done well with those 2 stallions, and you want to take a chance with a modestly priced stallion, you might send one or two to Lusteroflostthings.
