I think what happened is that Feature Race articles used to be archived indefinitely - they aren't anymore. The link in the original post of this thread links to an article that has dropped off the site.Talia Ichinari wrote: The "When to use Blinkers" links to an empty article. Is it something for SimPerior's only?
I'm pretty certain that the limit for articles to remain archived in the Feature Race is 6 months - of all the articles published in the Feature Race (identified by their ID # at the end of the web address for any of the articles), only those showing #2082 and forward work properly - that article is dated 4/10/2008, hence my conclusion that 6 months must be the limit!

I'm glad it helps! It did (and does) help me, too.

Hey, I just wanted to add my "this is amazingly awesome, would you like my firstborn?"
Oh, and to ask if anyone knows what the exploded in "Quick from gate exploded," is?
I'm thinking good, because my filly won, but was wondering what exactly it means.
Thanks again Alexis, this has been so helpful!

I've never seen that, but it sounds awesome. Can you link me to the filly Sasha?

Re: Running Lines for Dummies (Updated)
This was a really great post Sasha because up until now I hadn't looked into any of the Mixed Breed racing lines, having not raced any myself yet. So, I've only just realized the Mixed Breeds are different.
Appaloosas, Paints, and Quarter Horses lines are shorter, consisting of just two messages, one for how the horse broke and one for how they finish. Arabian's lines seem to be exactly the same as Thoroughbreds. Standardbreds just get a short general line. I'll be going through the races and adding lines as I go - but in the meantime I've added yours to a new section. From what I can tell without doing a whole lot of research, Exploded seems to be the best finish you can get for an Appy, Paint, or QH.
