After the first completed NHL series (won by the VGK), I won all 5 bets using my Massey Series System (use the free Massey probabilities with the possible winning series paths in a spreadsheet). Below are my win the series bets before each game.

In some other series, I have bets on both teams because of the updated Massey numbers and the new series odds after each game. Of course, before some games, there are no new bets as the odds and the probabilities are close -- betting either side would be an underlay.

This trivial betting system is for amusement only. I will be thrilled if I break even at the end of the playoffs. Its premise is that for each individual game, Massey and the posted odds are highly correlated. But there may be some favorable anomalies with the series odds. This System is trivial: (1) retrieve 4 Massey numbers, (2) type in the current series odds, and (3) bet (or pass) based on the spreadsheet output. But I suspect that you could make money selling an app or service that implemented the 4 steps, if marketed properly.
