My nomination is Shiniest. This alleged "freak" has multiple stakes winning freak siblings but can't get her own legs going in a single direction. So she's getting a virtual punch, and I swear I will bring out the baseball bat and commit genuine violence if she doesn't win over further distances. If she was a colt I would have already gelded her.

As you well know, I am prone to retiring freak fillies that don't want to run a step after just a handful of starts. But I still have a few "freaks" I'd definitely give a virtual sucker punch to.

Chief among them is Dispatch Nightmare. I have a stakes TM in the same crop that has FAR outperformed this idiot.

And then there is this useless thing. Probably distance confused, I dunno, I know I sure am all the time. He's still a jerk.

I only have two freak fillies in training right now because when they run like this slow colt I just retire them immediately.

Kind of like this absurdly pretty bred filly that couldn't run her way out of a wet paper bag. Probably should have waited and tried her longer, but let's be honest, if they don't show an ounce of ability against winners early in their careers at peak maturity, IME they pretty much never do.

Two of my three TB freaks have won a stakes race this year, and the third one is at least making good money placing in graded races even if she's forgotten that the goal is to win and not just hang out with friends, so I don't think I've got any to punch.. the stakes, on the other hand. "Stakes". Soon to be steaks.
