This filly rocks!
I would like to extend my gratitude to her breeder, Jo Ferris, for allowing such a filly to find a new home.
Even if she never wins a race, she is a horse that I will never forget; after all, she's likely the highest-priced mixer to sell in the game. I just HAD to have her - I won her at auction in the middle of a one hour drive to a family baby shower, and I'm sure I drove my fiancรฉ a little crazy with the constant excitement of "omg the auction is ending soon, I hope I get her!" and the "OMG I GOT HER." I had already been talking for days about the "insane Paint filly at auction" so he was probably about done having to hear about it

So who is this lovely filly, and what makes her so special?
Well... Pedigree, for one. She is out of a Graded Stakes winning mare, who is 100% at throwing Stakes winners from runners so far. In fact, MCR's half brother won the Steward's Cup Paint Juvenile last year. It's also very convenient that she is GP sired, because it'll make breeding her easier when the time comes.
As far as ability goes, all indicators so far point at a monster in the making. MCR currently holds the fastest ALL TIME 400m (Barrier Trials excluded) workout time. If you reset the filter to include Barrier Trials, she's still very high at #2. She's Freak Progressive, Brave, doesn't have a weather preference, is versatile (I suspect she can sprint and mid), and has the coveted Breeding Shed comment.
And, she's Black Tobiano, which is my absolute favorite horse coloring.
