I Am At A Complete Loss

I have posted about him before, and he's just continued to frustrate.
I've tried him at a few different distances - ranging from 1 1/16 (which he seems to "like" the most based on speed figures) up to 1 3/16. I'm considering trying 1 1/4 but looking at other horses from the Kingdom Come x Man Of Mystery cross, most don't seem to want further than 1 1/8.

I'm just confused because he was a TBS Game Point sale horse, and I feel like there should be SOME sort of redeeming quality here, but he's running like a washed up Allowance gelding. I've pretty much given up on getting him to the breeding shed, it's not happening at this point. I just can't bring myself to cut bait and geld him though

Try 10 furlongs for SURE, if not further. He reminds me of Byron.

Inclined to agree with Cleo. Without looking at the specific cross, both Kingdom Come and Man of Mystery have a lot of 10 furlong kings among their top offspring, and a decent handful of 12 furlong/marathon winners as well. Worst case scenario, he loses, and that's not really any different than what he's doing now.
