The Boys of Willow Downs

Post by Nick Gilmore »

Welcome to a tour through Willow Downs Stallion Division. We’ve shifted a couple of Stallions to take advantage of specific racing schedules and kept stud fees as affordable as possible.
Meet the boys…

Image
At Time’s End DIRT SPRINTER

At the races he earned $1,104,500 and won 18 of 24 starts, including 11 graded stakes.
Already the sire of 88 winners, his progeny has amassed $4.7 million.
Why breed to him? He’s one of the few thoroughbred stallions to have given A+ crosses not only with quarter horses, but to thoroughbreds as well. Two such crosses have produced freak gallops, along with the 6 other freaks in his repertoire.
Recently moved to Maryland, his future foals will be eligible for Maryland bred runners!
Still standing for $50,000 for thoroughbreds and $15,000 for quarters.

Moulay El Hassan TURF ROUTER

At the races, he earned $5,528,500 and won 11 of 19 starts, including 6 Grade 1 races.
Already the sire of 172 winners, his progeny earnings is currently $14,792,775.
Why breed to him? At 13 years old, this is the last season I can guarantee he’ll stand stud. Once he hits 14, his days are numbered. Catch him while you can!
Also recently moved to Maryland, he’s still standing for $50,000.

Image
Seth’s Resolve TURF ROUTER

At the races, he earned $1,586,300 and won 17 of 27 starts, including 13 Graded events.
The sire of 3 stakes gallopers in a total 47 foals, makes this guy flying under the radar.
Why breed to him? With blue hen mares Banner and Shentaan line breeding in his fourth generation, let’s keep these old lines alive.
Standing in Maryland, he standing for an affordable $15,000.

Image
Two Socks TURF ROUTER

At the races, he earned $5,863,000 and won 15 of 22 starts, including 10 Grade 1 races.
The sire of 36 winners, with progeny earnings of $2,557,430
Why breed to him? Not only did he win the Steward’s Cup Turf, he’s sired the year 64 winner of the Steward’s Cup Bunbury!
Standing in Georgia to support the new Sorority Park, he stands for $50,000.

Image
The Dark Knight TURF ROUTER

At the races, he earned $4,584,000 and won 17 of 26 starts, including 7 Grade 1 races.
In his first and only crop so far, he’s already sired 1 freak and 2 stake gallopers.
Why breed to him? By the real life stallion Ghaiyyath, he brings new bloodlines into the game with race capabilities attached.
Also promoting Georgia racing, he’s standing for $50,000.

To be continued…

A.T.E. moving to MD is "SIM significant!"

I say that effectively reduces his stud fee to about 25/30k due to the plethora of state bred racing available there.

Nice move, if I do say so myself - my trophy-less, no freak producing self, to be exact!
