Equinox is listed as being both a Turf Route and All Weather Route sire, and looks to be nicking pretty well in both divisions! On AWR mare Baptist Ridge, for example, he nicks a solid "A" which is a tick above Franzia’s “A-“ on the same mare, so he's definitely worth keeping in mind for those AWR mares!

He's looking pretty impressive on Turf Route mares, too. On my small sampling of mares, he isn't nicking quite as well as Impacts, but he certainly appears to possess commercial stallion quality. Within the Turf Route division, there's a solid track record of real life lines and game lines combining to make epic horses - Valar, Leopard, Signaling, Like Diamonds, Avengers Assemble, and The Dark Knight to name a handful.

I finally got around to doing a ton of nicks to some mares in the game. The B+ nicks are from some random AJ mare, and a mare who is actually a DM type, not a turf or AW type, so the hypo reflects that. Since most of these mares are not owned by me, I can't compare how he stacks up against the top stallions in his division(s) but this chart should give you a decent idea of his quality.

Just a quick little update!
Going forward, Equinox will be standing at Isis Stud! His transition means that any foals bred from this date onward will be eligible for Turf Route State-bred races at Sorority Park in the future.

A little update. I plan on capping Equinox's book at 210 foals. He's been extended to 180 slots, and I will extend to 210 if he fills up, but will not extend beyond 210. I will ensure that he has some slots left at the end of the season for those of you who like to breed late, so no need to race to the shed.

A quick update, this morning I noticed that he was down to having 12 slots left. With some nice lease auctions happening, and three weeks left of the season, I decided to go against my original decision to cap him at 210, and have extended him to 240. I will be keeping 20 of his remaining slots on reserve until Week 16 Day 5 after results.
So if he fills up before then, don't worry, 20 more spots will be opening.
