Didn't expect this, but Gunite (DM/DS) appears to be a top of the line Steeplechase hypoing stallion.
I have compared him against any of the top stallions I could find, and he is equal or better in hypoing.
Off the Lalor & Optical Phenomena only hypo A flats to any other top stallion, and A- to some. They hypo A with Gunite - he seriously looks to be that good.
Let me know what others of you find!

In the first crop of Gunite's Steeplechase group that are racing right now, we have had some impressive speed figures!
Gunite currently has 10! 3-year-olds in the Top 50 Speed figure chart right now (Most by a single stud on the list)
Including 5 in the top 13!
Currently:
Apples and Bananas - 107 + 100 spf's (107 is the best this year for 3 year olds)
Ginger Nights Z - 105 + 102 spf's
Granit Z - 104 spf
Legend of the Nile - 102 spf
Pool Deck - 102 spf
etc...
