Del Mar, Los Al, and Hillary

This is concerning and I am glad they cancelled Sunday. I hope most of the trainers find a place to evac to in Ventura or Santa Barbara county while the roads are passable. Most of the other places to evacuate to are right in the path of the storm. Santa Ynez has a bunch of farms near Santa Barbara and there is the Ventura fairgrounds. It would be a pain and a scramble to arrange, but Del Mar sits on low, swampy ground and is in a bit of a tricky place to get in and out of.

I hope they get them all out safely, and all the folk in low lying areas get out as well. I know some areas probably need the rain, but not all at once. I'm afraid the only way we're going to get out of our drought situation is for a TS (small one, please) to come in. Not another Harvey, but something a bit gentler.
