Coroebus 2 y/o gallops

Post by Gwen Morse »

I'm a bit surprised to not find a thread on this.

I bought a boy this time: https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1793301

Peak stakes. Very unsound. No other useful information revealed. He's a coy one.

I won this dude on an underbid and I don't know what to do with him now. He is up for sale.

He is a brave, stakes, peak, very unsound, no preference weather, equipment set, cat Companion purchased.

I think a lot of them are Very Unsound, which makes sense I guess, since poor Coroebus seemed to be.
My filly is very unsound as well. I am figuring she is a miler, but guess could be a sprinter, or even a router instead?
I know Coroebus seemed to appreciate the added distance over the sprint to a mile. But I wonder if he would have routed just as well with time and maturity?

I got a peak stakes but it turns out she's a miler and not a router so she's up for sale

I don't know what distance she prefers, how do you tell if they're not retired and not yet fit enough to do workouts?

Thebes is stakes, peak, timid and very unsound. From 3f work (albeit not fit) - not a sprinter
I'm just here for the fun of it

Some people use timed workouts. They'll time them at a sprint, mid, and route distance and then check which is fastest for the division. So if they're 3 seconds off the peak time at a miler and route distance, but only 1 sec off the peak time at a sprint, they'd be a sprinter.

Edit: They'll use times workouts before the horses are fit.

I will definitely do this once she is fit and rested. Probably at least another week or so.
