Wishing her a speedy, complication free recovery after fracturing her sesamoids in training today. She's scheduled for surgery tomorrow.

I would not risk her; I'd fix her and retire her. Hope she heals well!

they have no choice after this type of surgery (ankle fusion). She won't ever walk without a limp but hopefully if all goes well its a painless limp.

Been waiting all day to hear news on the surgery. Looks like it went well. Now it's just a waiting game while she heals.

I thought she would make it, but unfortunately she was euthanized yesterday after becoming cast in her stall and injuring herself getting up. Absolutely gutted.
