I claimed this gelding this year for his name.

(Temujin was Genghis Khan's real name)
So, he won that non-graded stakes with a 101 speed figure.
I've had like 1 horse that got over a hundred SF, and she was a t-bred in a Grade 1 race.
I rarely dabbled into 'chasing...so not sure what I should make of a 101 speed figure on a 5 year old gelding.
In his younger days, he did have a 102 and a 100 sp. But he never seemed to be a top tier runner for some reason.

Unfortunately, that is a pretty common occurrence in Steeplechasing. I think it's kinda the "final frontier" division of the SIM and still in need of some tweaking.

Congrats on the win with him Stormy. He even beat my nowadays slightly struggling stable star!

Its common, but still mainly seen in better horses (most chase freaks are not very freaky - like the majority of dirt route freaks)
I'm just here for the fun of it

Thanks for the information on this. The horse is a Freak Peak. I figured he was on the downhill slope, so that 101 SF surprised me.
