Connor - DR Sire
Just retired Connor, DR that preferred to go longer…all the hypos I have done (6-7 or so) have been truly disappointing. if you want to breed to him cause you like the cross just let me know and I’ll send you a spot.
Don’t retire horses with any expectation lol, you’ll be happier

Re: DR Sire
I had him in my alerts, so I'd send a couple mares his way for sure.
EDIT: I've gotten A- to flat A with a couple of the mares of mine I just checked with him. Those specific mares I've already bred for Y65 but I would definitely consider him for them next year, especially since one is a DMB daughter and the stud market has a lot of his sons and grandsons.

I learned that lesson many times .
Retiring a potential stud is one of the nerve racking parts of the game.

Re: Connor - DR Sire
I had a very loud tantrum about his early retirement this morning when I saw it. He was on a huge roll and just had one bad race that I think should have been forgiven.
But in general I don't understand not finishing the year at that point, as there are SO many "lesser" stakes and it doesn't have to all be the SC. I ALSO had this tantrum about Browncoat and a few more, so you're not alone!

Re: Connor - DR Sire
Well he couldn’t even get a stakes from my mares…just as a public service I’ll keep him private - if you really want to breed to him send me a pm and I’ll let you have a free breeding, but I’d look elsewhere haha

He has a stakes horse! Fee reduced to 10k, hopefully his horses can break their maiden and get you some cash

On a side note, looking at your signature. I believe i have been neglecting Lord Prism for too long… i sent a few his way this season so far, which seems to be his last … better late than never, i suppose.
