That was so shocking. I was heartbroken for his family that it happened while they were traveling like that. I am sure it made it all the harder.

God Bless the boy and his family. It was amazing that he lived to 17. A lot of love and dedication from his parents and siblings. I can only hope he was happy riding home after Cody's Wish won his 2nd BC, and that the end was quick.

Seen him on breeders cup night and he didn’t look as alert as the year before but still shocked to read that he had passed the next day
