As someone in their first year of breeding, when is ‘festivus’? ie when can I gallop the foals that I bred this year?

Nope, no training at all.
Lots of people hang out in chat during the break, usually drama will pop up in the forum because people are bored, etc. You can see on the homepage under 'upcoming events/calendar' when everything starts up again!
