It has been years since I last saw a major jump in gallop comments, so seeing one this year made me happy. Ikon's daughter by Napoleon went from solid progressive to stakes progressive.

Symbology surprisingly went from stakes to freak. Let's see if I can eventually figure out what she wants. Kryptonite's daughter Synergy had begun sporting faster workouts before midyear, so I was somewhat prepared for her freakishness. Albeit she has proven difficult in a similar manner as Symbology. Karazhan's son Tau ran a speed figure of 93 his first time out, but seemed to have given up on life after that. Let's see if the added freak-status may persuade him to make a comeback.

Very happy with both, particularly the second one. Can't wait to see her run, but REALLY can't wait to see her in the shed.

I had a nice chunk of allowance lb --> stakes improvers. Stakes bloomers didn't want to do anything, BUT I had three stakes peak TB colts jump to freak (sired by Impacts, First Class, and You Will Be Found - of course I sold the dam on that one earlier this year, buy my sale mares because time and again they show their true colors the second they leave my barn!)

Had another stakes peak --> freak on the mixer side in a trot filly, and a bunch of allowance --> stakes mixers (I think I have 4-5 fresh stakes by Chrome Fella alone).

Yearlings can improve, it's just extremely rare and not really worth messing up workout schedules to test for.

I got a couple new freaks, taking the total in my barn to 9 which is just mind-blowing for me. I've never had more than 2-3 before this year. I only checked a small group - my improver stakes, and my Gord's Secrets foals (for the incentive on the breeding forum).
