Losing to horses who are already winners with 90+ SF, some already stakes winners. She hasn't been flopping in maidens, she's been running 2nd/3rd in graded stakes races, and then being asked to produce a stakes win against other stakes/possible freaks. Barrier trial isn't going to do away with the lack of winner's experience that the others already have, or guarantee a stakes win against decent horses.

IIRC maidens in stakes races have a disadvantage against horses who have won races.
