Here is some iffin’

IF that horse gives up the lead as a timid (in off topic) and loses then that horse loses confidence.

IF i drop that horse to win and it again is challenged on the lead and gives it up as that timid, it loses even more confidence.

Its not in isolation… i think she is also quoted in the edge as saying how competitive races are and hopes small things like training would take more affect.


IF it is meaningless then why is it there?

Id wager that is what is happening, if one factor was to take the blame, with this horse starting this thread.

That being said, in conjunction with what Kelly said here… perhaps moving timids along more carefully up the ladder to find their level is the “better” way.
