My First Homebred A+ Hypo Turf Router Foal

I am excited but cautiously optimistic about my first homebred A+ Turf Router Foal. I can get A hypos with some of my Blue Hens and A- Hypos but this is my first ever A+ hypo homebred Turf Router. Its an Impacts colt out of a Brilliance daughter who is a Blue Hen and was an Allowance - Peak. I know Impacts hypos well with pretty much every mare that is sent to him but for me, I am still in shock to finally see an A+ Hypo cross with one of my mares. I know it doesn't mean this colt will be special with the slide but I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for a Stakes - Late Bloomer although any sort of Freak would be like an unobtainable dream for me.

Really hoping this one lone colt is something special and that he has the breeding shed comment if he is.

A+ is still relatively rare in TR so you’re allowed to get excited!

To give you an idea… Staged only has 2 A+ crosses. Theatre doesn’t have any. Admire Me doesn’t have any. The best TR hypoing mare I have numbers is Caesius with 10 A+ crosses. I did the mass check with her after I kept getting A+ with her when I checked a couple after she retired.

Excellent! Congrats Tammy! Personally, the only A+ I’ve seen are in chasers and quarters, which is common enough. I’m still looking for one in tr myself, and yes, it’s something to be proud of! Very cool!
