Don't forget
The allowance fillies in my auction come with a foal once they are done racing. These leases will earn money and can be sent back at any time over the next 2 years, so it is kind of a no-lose situation. There is still one filly with no bid and several horses going for $1.

Since Kelly, hasn't chimed in yet-- When the horse's career is done, you get the first foal 
Usually, that means when you cancel the lease, the owner will retire the horse and lease it back to you for breeding.
