DR breeding help

So, after a few biggish money DR leases last year, it turns out I'm rubbish at breeding DR lol.

With this in mind I'd already agreed a couple of leases for this season. So would really appreciate any breeding suggestions and reasoning as this may help me understand DR breeding going forward.

For Gadot, there are two graded stakes winning offspring of War Like Me out of Castles Crumble mares - filtered search here. Her longest winning race was 1 3/16 but her sire and damsire won at the 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 that War Like Me seemed to relish. WLM is also 14 this year.

Ah, these two cows... I've been at a huge loss with them. I thought Maximus was a wonderful "Sneaky" match for OWB last year, and it flopped.
I agree with Nicole on War Like Me for Gadot; i'm surprised she hasn't been tried with him yet. The only con with the pairing I can think of, is you're likely going to get a filly who doesn't want to distaff. But hey, the Acorn and SC Ladies Route are a thing!

Send Owl Wear Blue to Owligator. That's what I would have done this year if I hadn't leased her out. She's a half to Blueprint, and Blueprint is by Owligator. If it worked on her mom, maybe it'll work on her?

Shameless plug but for owl wear blue I’d say Hum. The girl is freak LB with a similar cross. Plus Hum is only 25k so offsets the big lease price
