How was the fishing? SB 2yo Sale

Post by Kelly Haggerty »

I got a stakes peak, sound DM filly. Her name is because I STILL have Bell's, so if I am going to Smile Happy it is gonna be a little broken and crooked still. In Week 15 of recovery and still hoping to get better.

Stakes, peak - but very unsound. Still happy with him though.
Guess who’s back, back again.

I was pleased with this TM filly, https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1820109. Stakes with the Shed comment, and didn't spend a whole lot of money.

Really think Rand is going to be a good broodmare sire. Best of luck with her Darcy.

Nihilist is a Stakes - Peak - Timid - Unsound - Mudder - Ha!

... often associated with extreme pessimism and a radical skepticism that condemns existence. A true nihilist would believe in nothing, have no loyalties, and no purpose other than, perhaps, an impulse to destroy. So I got that going for me... Hehehe.

Galloped Stakes Peak. Slightly unsound. Not really what I was hoping for, but the filly I really wanted went way out of my price range, so it is what it is. At least he's not strictly a mudder! Not too upset for the price.

I've yet to get anything that's all that special from these sales, but hope springs eternal! :-D

Got a little DR filly on a underbid. She galloped stakes peak and she’s sound.

Please please please everyone just pay attention when Stewie (who has inside information) tells you things about stallions. There was another one this week to pay attention to as well!

Stew breds are definitionally intelligent. Pay attention, even if the random slide doesn't work. The idea at least is informed by more knowledge than we have.

Why is this colt weirdly bred? That's for us to decipher but he wasn't bred because the Steward is stupid.

I’m just saying, Em has no time to be in depth thinking about all her breedings these days. Sometimes she just breeds random stuff to hit a stallion and put a check mark next to the ‘have I bred to this one this season?’ column.
