This girl: https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1575370 was allowance/late bloomer (longer career) from her first gallop. On the Y63/64 break, she bumped up to stakes/peak. On this past break (Y66/67), she bumped again to freak/peak. I'll see on Week 2 whether or not she runs like a freak.
she is also a homebred. Stewbreds are programmed peak and they usually never improve. I have never seen one in the modern era improve after initial gallop
Nostradamus (SB) was bought a stakes peak and improved to Freak peak 1,5 years later (game years). So they sure can improve, maybe it's very rare, but possible.

Wildest Horse (SB) was a stakes progressive, and funnily enough, kept galloping stakes progressive, including at age 6. I almost kept him in training at seven to see if he would ever peak, but didn't.

Creator of Worlds, a Steward bred, was a Freak "Late Bloomer" when I got him. Unfortunately, like Laura, I think it was a glitch in the game. I checked him at the beginning of his 7 year old season, and he was a still a Freak Late Bloomer, but when I checked him at 8, he was productive... Just the way the system is sometimes. He was a Long Island Classic winner though, so I can't complain too much.

I had a similar Stewardbred. She was still a late bloomer when I retired her after having galloped her as a 5 1/2 years old.

I believe that was the case with Creator Of Worlds too. Can't remember if he actually ever Peaked, or if Randell just eventually decided it was time to retire and move on.

I am in utter disbelief. I loved the Loves Only You filly when I was first looking through and chucked a bid in. Didn't get the high bid but figured I'd come back later. Promptly forgot the auction existed. By some miracle, I got her on an underbid and she is now only the second Steward bred freak I've managed to pick out and actually get. The only other one was 24 seasons ago.

I didn't want to spend much so I just looked at players who always seem to get "lucky" in TBS auctions who had multiple high bids and hammered the underbids around 500k. It worked. I got this and it has a note <3

If you are looking for a guaranteed stakes gallop, never doubt my choices because I have a keen eye for them. Almost 100% pick rate 😂 My Apparate x Snack colt is a stakes.

I was kinda jealous of all the freaks in the first two auctions, can’t lie! But in the last one I got a TR freak filly, brave, sound and no weather preference. Now I’m happy again! ☺
