My favorite racehorse that is not German was mostahdaf. I finally got around to draw a fanart. it took me almost 5 hours.

Afleet Alex.....won the Preakness after being bumped badly by another horse on the far turn & went down to his knees with the jockey's cap touching the ground;righted himself & went on to win by open lengths. Then won The Belmont 3 weeks later.
It's better to have it & not need it than to need it & not have it.

I have always been madly in love with Ruffian. If I could jump into a time machine and see any horse in person, it would be her.

A truly great Canadian…Northern Dancer, not only won the Kentucky Derby (I remember watching him on tv), but changed the face of thoroughbred racing forever.
Watching yesterday’s racing from Churchill, the winner of the American Turf Stakes, Trikari, reminded me so much of the Dancer, I checked out his pedigree…sure enough, on his sire’s side, he’s 5x5 to Northern Dancer. And 6x6 on his dam’s side! Pretty awesome, he’s still an influence!
