Triple Crown on the line

Post by Carole Hanson »

If my very basic and too quick research is right, this is the first time since year 50 (Owl Let You Know) that we have had a Triple Crown on the line going into the Long Island Classic.

Huge congratulations to Brianna and Eddystone on such a great achievement! Would love to see him do it in New York too!

And shout-out to Larkspur who has been keeping Eddystone honest all the way through!

Yes, Em said that on the broadcast last night and it made me realize that we haven't been in this situation since before I started playing. I joined toward the end of Y55. :o

Half of me is hoping Bri and Eddystone takes the Triple Crown. But half of me hopes that Larkspur will steal it from him. Either way, it will be a fantastic race!

I ended up doing a whole ramble about it in the Edge this week because I'm all excited.

When Larkspur was at auction, I thought about buying, but Darcy had it in her bid, and I said I couldn't bid for it, since Darcy had it at that time, I hoped she would come out of the amount so I could bid. but in the end she bought it, what I like is that Larkspur's mother was raised by me, and acquired by The Steward, and she is her first millionaire, that excites me a lot since there are competitive children. from You're the Reason

and I think Larkspu will be better in the 1 1/2 Miles, since I think he is a horse that performs better at this distance. It will be incredible to see the third step of the TC, I hope that night to hear the call so as not to lose the excitement of the the final stretch until.

Sorry to everyone who hoped for a Triple (I was one of them), and with Don Karnage taking the Long Island Classic was a bitter sweet victory.
But it shall be interesting to see these 3 fight it out for the rest of the season, for sure.
