Rules:
1- Bid here on the Forum. All bids PMed to me will be ignored.
2- Bid at least $1,000 above the previous bid.
3- Make sure you include a hip # along with the horse name. It's easier for me.
4- Don't complain about the time it ends. I'm sorry if it's inconvenient for those of you living in Zimbabwe or the Arctic Circle. I just don't have the energy to cater to everyone.
5- If, at the end of the auction, I don't like how much a horse went for, I hold the right to "RNA" it.
6- Enjoy!
I really hope everyone gets something fun!
Hip #1 - <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=45503' target='_blank'>Counterpart</a> - ch.c.2 - Bienemado x Rose Reflections (Storm Cat)
Bienemado has been doing remarkably well, considering his small books. He's producing over 50% winners, and 10% stakes winners. This includes <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=31531' target='_blank'>Bienaboogie</a>, who is bred along the same cross as this colt. Also, <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=28299' target='_blank'>Good Dancer</a> is one of his stakes winners out of a Derby Dancer mare, who is this colt's great damsire.
-Workout: 2fT in 23.37
<span style='color:red'>-Final Bid: $30,000 for Anna Leroux</span>
Hip #2 - <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=45504' target='_blank'>Enfant Terrible</a> - gr.c.2 - Villain x Cantankerous (Trust)
Whoever gets this colt will likely find themselves with something very nice. Villain needs no introduction, as he is one of the SIMs top sprint sires at the moment. Cantankerous was a multiple winner herself, and has produced two top-knotch sprinters to date. <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=34947' target='_blank'>Petulant</a> is by Mayakovsky and won a nice stake in W16 of last year. <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=38454' target='_blank'>Obstinate</a> is by the great Lost Soldier, a two time winner, and three times stakes places in his two year old season. Seriously, folks, this is a nice baby.
-Workouts: 2f in 22.42 and 3f in 36.31
<span style='color:red'>-Final Bid: $700,000 for Jamie Newton</span>
Hip #3 - <a href='http://http://www.simhorseracing.com/ho ... seID=47488' target='_blank'>Futurist</a> - bl.f.2 - Saturn x Mayanemsky (Mayakovsky)
Another top-tier sprint sire here who needs no introduction. The mare is out of a no-name mare, but managed to win four times at the sprint distances. Mayakovsky has turned out to be a trusty sprint sire, and I can only hope he'll do even better as a dam sire. Should be a consistent earner, if not stakes quality.
-Workouts: 2f in 22.58 and 3f in 36.36
<span style='color:red'>-Final Bid: $185,000 for Rose Hepburn</span>
Hip #4 - <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=46731' target='_blank'>Headliner</a> - dkb.c.2 - Mayakovsky x Starlet (Best)
The breeding on the damside here is almost flawless. Starlet is the daughter of the great Statgal, and I unfortunately mismanaged her career as a race horse. She managed a few stakes placings on top of multiple allowance scores. This baby could be just about anything.
-Workouts: 2f in 22.64 and 3f in 36.52
<span style='color:red'>-Final Bid: $35,000 for Charles Bunbury</span>
Hip #5 - <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=41898' target='_blank'>Offsuit</a> - ch.c.2 - Three of a Kind x Affaire (Rahy)
Sire was an Arc winner and dam won from one to two miles on the turf. The Storm Cat over Rahy cross has proven successful in the past, and I have no reason to believe it won't work here. Another one that could be anything.
-Workout: 2fT in 23.37
<span style='color:red'>-Final Bid: $85,000 for Doug Kidwell</span>
Hip #6 - <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=46006' target='_blank'>Seattle's Grey</a> - dkb.f.2 - Chief Seattle x Myheartcriestonite (Fighting With Wit)
The recently pensioned Chief Seattle never really caught a break as a sire, but produced some winners. The dam is a daughter of Encore, an excellent producer, and has produced multiple winners and one stakes placed winner.
-Workouts: 2f in 22.96 and 3f in 36.94
<span style='color:red'>-Final Bid: $11,000 for Bill Deitch</span>
Hip #7 - <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=42222' target='_blank'>Strand of Sterling</a> - gr.f.2 - Onwardsilvercharm x Strand of Gold (Fusaichi Pegasus)
In the last crop of the great Wally (Onwardsilvercharm for you newbies), and out of a winning mare by the sim-loving Fu-peg line. She has produced two winners thus far, and I am of the belief this one should be another.
-Workout: 2f in 22.84
<span style='color:red'>-Final Bid: $21,000 for Bill Deitch</span>
Hip #8 - <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=46057' target='_blank'>The Third</a> - gr.c.2 - Pincay x Dito's Sky (Conduit)
Pincay had an incredible year last year, proving his value as a stallion, and this mare has the capacity to produce a nice runner. She hasn't yet, to be perfectly honest, but she's never seen a stallion of this quality yet, either.
-Workouts: 2f in 22.46 and 3f in 36.49
<span style='color:red'>-Final Bid: $81,000 for Bill Deitch</span>
