Well it's time I mentioned Ernie in this forum!! He's super fantastic! My first G1 winner, my first simmy award winner!! and if you've read my Feature race articles, hopefully my first stallion!!

And he gets extra credit for not making a fool of me after I started writing/posting about my hope for him to be my first stallion!! He seems to be well on his way!

Well maybe he can take Ghostzapper's place at the end of the year!

I know I like him a lot, and I have a ton of sprint-mile mares that might work with him.

It's great to hear that there is some interest in him!

Ghostzapper's would be huge shoes to fill though,

Well, Hemingway is going to try a mile in his next race. I'd like to see if the SC mile is a possibility. If he fades badly in this next start, I'll stick with 7f or shorter for the rest of the year.

I hope I'm making an ok decision for him! :unsure:

Well, after two rough races, Ernie returned to his winning form beating older horses in the G2 Foolish Games Stakes. I think the return to his favorite distance helped.

But he had a rough race, stumbling at the start and running wide... But on the upside, he was closing the gap late and has run 7furlongs faster twice before.

Another second for Hemingway. He is on his way to Dubai to try his hand with the quickest in the world.

I love this horse. I know I've pushed his limits- trying out a mile and now testing his speed with the big guns, but I've never had a horse this good before, and why not see what he can do?
