I hate to add new problems, but will the chat room be operational in time for the SC?

I ditched firefox and added Chrome and now the chat is working for me.

I added Chrome, works amazing.
Had no luck with Firefox.

I just downloaded Safari, and the chat still won't work.

I miss SIMsters!!!

Not only that, but I just downloaded Firefox...and it still won't work. It won't let me download any Adobe Plug-Ins, either.

Yeah, I'm having the same problems. Plus, my stupid laptop keeps telling me I'm low on disk space. That cannot be good.

Try this:

1. goto <a href='http://www.meebo.com/' target='_blank'>Meebo</a> (nothing to download)

2. sign in with your AOL screen name & password (or yahoo, google, MSN etc). You DO NOT have to sign up for MEEBO (so leave the MEEBO sign in blank)

3. goto "Rooms" on top & click

4. On the new page, goto the search box on the upper left & type in SIM

5. Voila! You're in!

issue fixed had to uninstall and re install adobe flash

I just uploaded Adobe Flash and went to chat but the same thing happened. A little box came up with a red X in the corner. What am I doing wrong?

I am sad now, I can't hang with any SIMsters in chat.

EDIT: I HAD the problem fixed, but my laptop really sucks so I can't get in.

Soo I was bored and I got all excited to get in the chatroom for the first time in forever...
and I went and clicked on it and... Firefox froze.

And again a second time. On my brrrrrand new laptop, which has not yet, to this point, failed at anything except this.

Laura sad.

. Works fine in Firefox for me. Did you try restarting? Or maybe even try in IE, I guess.

Might try in IE next time... Annoying that it won't work in the browser I like, though.
