So besides being an awesome racehorse (South African Champion Older Mare), Canto is also turning into an amazing broodmare!

Her oldest foal, <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=47786' target='_blank'>Divine Comedy</a> (by Feature Attraction), has six wins from nine starts and has never finished worse than second. Four of those wins were in stakes, including last year's Steward's Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. She has earned just short of a million dollars.

Her two year old, <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=50073' target='_blank'>Coloratura</a> (by George Washington), is currently undefeated, as was her sister as a two year old. She has three stakes wins, two of which are Grade Threes (sorry, I have to take what I can get in Europe).

Her yearling, <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=61186' target='_blank'>Alighieri</a> (by Monaachi), obviously has yet to race but has some pretty darn fast works.

Her foal <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=69368' target='_blank'>In Medias Res</a> (by Benjamin Franklin) is just cute.

I know you are all jealous of Katy, me, and Emily for owning these awesome foals. I am even more jealous of Katy for owning this awesome mare. Yay for Canto!

I just saw this when I was poking around this morning. Canto is an awesome mare, one of my favorites in the game. She's been a real stable starter for me, and I'm really lucky to have her in my barn.

I also really can't wait to see Alighieri run. And all that rambling means "thank you, Ara, for starting this topic, since Canto is fantastic, and good luck with Coloratura." :)
