I ordered a headshot for him a few days ago, and he is entered in the Ready To Run Now Stakes on Week 2 
Hope the three week break was long enough for him.

Battlenote is now 7 for 7, as he won the Ready To Run Now Stakes on Friday. I think he needs 4 week breaks between races so he will be coming back week 6, if there is a race for him. If not, he will come back week 5 but then the rest of his career will be 4 week breaks.
He is also the #1 money earner for Rainshine offspring!

Worked Battlenote today so that he could get out there and race... he has to have a five week break and I am extremely nervous about that since there weren't any stakes that fit him last week or this week. Hope it doesn't effect him to much.

Battlenote lost his first race 
It was my fault for giving him a 5 week race. He peaks every 4 weeks. Oh well.
He will aim to the G2 race at AA on week 11.

Battlenote is back!
He won the G2 Maryforney.blogspot.com Stakes by 1 1/4 lengths over a very tough field! I was rather nervous because this lineup was extremely tough and was almost as tough as the AW Championships! The winning time was 1:40.2 and he got a 68 SF for the win. His earnings are now at $429,000.
Makes me want to see how well he would do next year... =( rofl

So, Battlenote's next race is either going to be the AW Championships or the AW Mile Championships. Which would you enter him in if he was yours? I have no concern with either race and I feel that he can handle the fields in both the races, same with the distance.

Battlenote will be making his final career start in the AW Championships. He will then be retired to stud.
I'm pretty sad but he has been a fantastic horse to own and I will be looking forward to seeing what his foals can do in the future.
Right now, his stud fee looks to be $20,000 - $25,000.
