I'm got all the ones I wanted. I just wanted Arabians. All 2yos. The tallest ones I could find (at the time).

Here are mine:

Danawi (name means Wordly)
16HH black 2yo Arabian colt

Moniet (name means Wish)
16.3HH chestnut 2yo Arabian colt

Jahmal (name means Handsome)
15.3HH dark bay 2yo Arabian colt

Bint Al Hawa (name means Daughter of the Wind)
16HH grey 2yo Arabian filly

Bourkan (name means Volcano)
17HH chestnut 2yo Arabian filly

Ma Ajmala (name means How Beautiful)
16.2HH dark bay 2yo Arabian filly

Tawil (name means Tall)
17HH bay 2yo arabian filly

Wasn't really looking for tall arabians until I found Tawil lol. She's my favorite...

I'm trying my best not to buy anymore, but it's just so hard. So the four I've bought might have another friend if I don't control myself.

Paint - Heron gru.f.2 Grulla means crane in spanish, crane made me think of Heron

Arabian - Kamayt ch.f.4 Avid wiki user, had no idea for a good name so looked up Arabian Horse and under the mythology of how the bred began there was one story "Other versions of the story claim Allah said to the South Wind: "I want to make a creature out of you. Condense." Then from the material condensed from the wind, he made a kamayt-colored animal (a bay or burnt chestnut)" and since she's a chestnut it fit.

Standardbred-Trotter - Kholstomer bl.f.3 Story by Leo Tolstoy where an Orlov trotter who recounts his life. Yeah she's a filly, but still liked the name. Also means Strider.

Standardbred-Pacer - Just Going Through gr.f.2 Probably the corniest name I've used so far since her name came from thinking of just going through my paces.

Now to not buy an appy or quarter...at least not until I get some more monies.

So exciting! I picked up 10 of the new breeds, 6 Arabians and 4 QHs. I named all the Arabians by popping their English names into an Arabic online translator, so who knows if they actually mean what I think, but they sound pretty and seemed appropriate. I tried to name all the QHs something that sounded "Quarter Horse-ish," including 2 I named after Favorite Trick, because I think he would have been a great QH sire if he had the chance. Anyway, meet...

Arabians:
Ahmar- chestnut colt- yearling (name: red)
Iba- grey filly- 2yo (pride)
Ibham- black filly- yearling (darkness)
Khayal- grey filly- 3yo (ghost)
Nar- chestnut colt- 3yo (fire)
Sadim- grey filly- yearling (fog)

Quarter Horses:
Snow to Go- cremello filly- yearling
Streakin Red- red roan colt- 4yo
Trickster's Legacy- dun filly- yearling
Trickster's Star- black colt- 4yo
Easy Favorite Stables

I bought one more paint... a 4-year-old white paint filly that I named Bad Blazin Biankus. I think she was the last 4yo filly for sale.

I'm taking my time renaming them, but I decided to give one a name in honor of today. He'll probably be renamed down the road...

I haven't renamed any yet, I'm considering leaving the generic names on them actually.

Really, I'm clueless about this stuff. I asked Em the other day what kind of racing Appys and Arabs do, because I thought we were talking about endurance racing (which I think is uber-cool, btw). LOL

I just renamed by newest 10, and I just went through entries of races to find some ideas. Some are FUN!

And I named one in a most stupidest way. :?

County you were born / Mother's Maiden name
