Re: What Did You Name Your Mixes?
I've REALLY been pulling some wierd names tonight.
First off, I renamed my paint filly "Miss Flirt" to the real life horse's actual show name, "Special Colors SF."
I got two appaloosas: named the black one "White On The Black" and the white one "Black On The White."
Six harness standardbreds, three pacers, three trotters: "HH Hanover Queen", "He's Hot To Trot", "Pick Up The Pace", "Little Trottin Gal", "Regal Justice", and the FUNNIEST, randomest one, "Oops I Broke Gait".
And finally, two more Paints, both colts named after real-life horses: "I've Been Spotted" (named after OO I've Been Spotted, the half-Arab/half paint Saddlebred National champion whom I helped nurse back to health after colic surgery), and "Aces Tuff Stuff" (named after Aces Poco Tuff Stuff, who was no national champion but still has a special place in my heart).
I LOVETH the new breeds!!!!!!!

Re: What Did You Name Your Mixes?
I only got to snag one mix but here's my Arabian filly:
Basha'ir (means good news, good omens)
dkb. f. 17hh
She's only a year though so I have to wait another two years to run her. Hopefully I can find some more money to buy more Arabians.

Brianna and I are dorks and are naming all of our Standardbreds with "Briar" in the name. Brianna + Ara = Briar, get it?
Yeah we are awesome.
Yeah we are awesome.
You're not getting a dead button...in fits of rage, John Slotman and Ara Davies and Jolene Danner would literally kill half their barns.

Re: What Did You Name Your Mixes?
I bought a couple Arabs, and had a really hard time naming them because I don't really favor the Arabian names. So mine are:
Byerley
Darley
Regulus
I bought a trot colt and filly, but they're still yearlings and nameless.
