Wha? Equibase has him listed as second... it says Strong Contender won.

Yes, Strong Contender did win, although Lawyer Ron was very game in defeat, especially after fighting his jockey the whole length of the backstretch. He'll get them next time!

He was RANK as heck all the way around. McKee's feet were on the dashboard.. LR loses race because of his crazed way or running. LOL Strong Contender looked huge when he got up beside him. LOL LR is tiny compared to SC. Both ran a tremendous race!
